It's easy to pick out dresses for the skinny minnies. In fact, there is no shortage of options for them. They can browse through a hundred styles and a hundred outfits and never have to worry about a damn thing, except how sexy they look! At least that's what you think. Just a tiny fact to make you feel better.. They don't have it that easy either. They have to constantly struggle to accentuate their derrière and lack of assets.

 

We, on the other hand, know for a fact that, highlighting our assets is something we never have to worry about. With Valentine's Day and Prom just around the corner, I'm going to highlight a few dress options for you to accentuate your assets to the fullest and look fabulous.

 

Let me start by telling you that there is absolutely no substitute for self-confidence and a cheery attitude. No matter what you wear, it's purely your attitude that defines you. You could be looking gorgeous, but if you are conscious about your weight, nothing can help you! So start off by believing in yourself. The rest will fall in place automatically.

 

It's obvious you want to look good on your Prom. Who doesn't? One of the key factors to looking stunning on your prom night is to pick a dress that suits your body type. Never ever pick a dress that's the wrong size. If it's too tight it may highlight bulges and if it's too loose, you may look frumpy. Always be careful to pick your size. By picking a dress in which the skirt looks like it wraps around you, you will successfully cover any tummy rolls and draw attention instead to your hips.

 

The golden rule of dressing is to keep it simple. Try and avoid multi-color dresses and instead opt for one in a single color. This helps to elongate your silhouette and de-emphasize the problem areas.

 

Gowns and knee length dresses help to create a more elongated illusion as do vertical stripes. Halter necks are usually an ideal option. However, if your arms are on the looser side, then avoid wearing sleeveless dresses. Open necklines like v-necks elongate the neck. Avoid low-rise anything. Very few people can actually carry that off.

 

Wear heels, at least 1 inch long, as a minimum. This helps to make your legs look longer and slimmer. If you have gorgeous muscular legs, it's superb to pick a gown, with a long side slit.

 

When you select a dress, most importantly – just listen to your heart! I'm writing this article just to let you know, how good I felt in my pink gown! The compliments were flowing in and the glow in my cheeks pretty much matched my outfit!

 

Fashionistas come in all shapes and sizes and you are super hot. So don't worry whatsoever if you're a little healthier than the average Desperate Housewife. Just prepare to sizzle the dance floor on Prom night!
